The Siachen Glacier is located in the eastern Karakoram range in the Himalaya Mountains at about 35.421226°N 77.109540°E, just northeast of the point NJ9842 where the Line of Control between India and Pakistan ends. It covers an area of 700 km². It is elavated in 5,400 m. It's parent range is Karakoram.

Siachen is the highest battle field where our many soldiers get martyr due to natural calamities.
